About UsDavid W. Duffy
David W Duffy is Ireland’s leading published author on corporate governance based on over 20 years of advising organisations nationally and internationally.
His most recent books include:
- A Practical Guide to Corporate Governance
- A Practical Guide for Company Directors
Both these books are published by Chartered Accountants Ireland.
He has also completed over 200 governance assignments and has had Chair, Non-Executive Director, Executive Director, CEO and Company Secretary experience on over 10 boards in Ireland, UK and France. He has extensive experience in advising organisations on corporate governance and strategy. He previously worked with Accenture and PWC in London.
He is a graduate in Business from Trinity College Dublin and holds an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is also a Chartered Accountant. David was a Council Member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and a former board member of The Ireland Funds and a number of other commercial, sporting and voluntary bodies. He is also the Co-Founder of The Corporate Governance Institute which provides online and accredited programmes in corporate governance for aspiring and existing directors globally.
